DB2/4 Mark II Saloon

Neill Bruce photograph of LJA 287

LJA 287 (AM300/1202). This very attractive example of the Mark II Aston Martin DB2/34 saloon was made about one third of the way through the production run of 300 cars, which places it as a 1956 car. Although the Mark II shared the same chassis and mechanical specification with the DB2/4, the bodies were now made Tickford at Newport Pagnell, as David Brown had bought the firm, even though it already made Lagonda bodies. There were also many detailed design changes included.
