A DB4GT Zagato and a V8 Vantage Zagato

VGF 1, DB4GT Zagato, DB4GT/0181/L. This car is unusual in having an air scoop on the bonnet. The Zagatos did not normally have this feature. C779 DRO, V8 Vantage Zagato, V8ZGR 20010 - this is the development car. The production versions had a smaller protrusion on the bonnet. The cars are photographed together outside 'Sunnyside' the then HQ of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. at Newport Pagnell. The newer Zagato (the V8 on the right) was in many ways seen as a natural succssor to the highly successful (and popular) DB4GT Zagato. It was manufactured between 1986 and 1988. A total of 57 saloons and 37 volantes were made.
